|And yes, it was a strike! Way to go Steve!|
This weekend was eventful and restful. Saturday, Steve worked. Lots of fires that day. Hot, hot, hot! 101 degrees for Saturday's high. He worked extra hard for the dollar that day. I on the other hand, had a girl's night! Jocelyn was here for the weekend from Lewiston. It was nice to get to spend some time with her and some of our friends.
Grandma Collie watched Lucas for the night. When Steve came home Sunday morning, it was nice to just be able to spend time with him. We usually have to jump out of bed by 7:00 am to get Lucas his bottle. After we picked up Lucas from Grandma Collie's, we headed to the grocery store, then came home and had a nap while Lucas napped. I wasn't expecting his nap to last four hours! Yep, we slept that long too. We got up and made a yummy dinner and had Grandma Collie join us. Home made pesto, grilled zucchini, cucumber/red onion/basil/cherry tomato salad, and grilled chicken. Besides the chicken, our entire dinner was from the garden! It was so great!
Then Steve and I headed to 20th Century to bowl. It was fun to be competitive with him. It was also fun to watch how upset he gets when he doesn't do as well as he wants. We won't talk about the final scores. I need to protect those involved. :)
Our weekend wrapped up to be a wonderful two days. We needed the rest and needed the time for just us.
