Pumpkin Patch Visit

Lucas wanted NOTHING to do with the corn!

Lauren having fun in the corn.

My two camera lovers.

Pretty Lauren.

Stoic Lucas...our entire visit.
Juliebelle staying warm by the fire.

This was our little Lucas last year...how he's grown.

The Hayes' annual visit to Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch was completed with success.   Lucas on the other hand would probably disagree with me.  He decided to not want to leave the arms of either Mom nor Dad.  When Juliebelle tried to take him and play in the corn pit, he screamed.  When she tried to carry him around and look at the other happenings, he screamed.  He stopped screaming when I held him.  He finally went to Dad where he sat in his front pack...happy as a clam.

We all loaded onto the tractor to head out to the field full of pumpkins.  Wow, so many choices this year.  Last year was a little scarce in comparison.  Maybe it's all the rain we've been having.  The extra rain sure created some extra mud for our shoes.
After a good long time of deciding on this pumpkin or that pumpkin, the kids made their choices with conviction.
"Are you sure that's the one you want?"  I asked each of them several times.  I got all yes's in return.  Steve ended up carrying Juliebelle's back to the car for her, her's was too big for her to carry on her own!

We finished up our night with Anthony on the mechanical bull, the girls taking a ride in the barrel train, and Mom standing by the bonfire...it was cold!!

After we arrived home, dirty clothes went straight to the washer and the kids straight to the showers.  Another year down at Linder Farms.  Already looking forward to next year.  Maybe then Lucas will decided it's okay to have a little fun.
